These rules govern the terms and conditions of the "EuroBasket 2022 - Tissot" competition (the "Competition") and are the only document that fully and bindingly governs the rules of the Competition.
The organizer of the Competition is MINUTA CZ, s. r. o. with registered office at Plucárna 3560/1, 695 01 Hodonín, Czech Republic, ID No.: 29257808, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno, File No. C 68738/KSBR (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").
The organizer of the competition, which provides practical steps in its organization, is SPORT INVEST Marketing, a.s., with its registered office at Hvězdova 1716/2b, Postal Code 140 00, Prague 4, ID No.: 27368637, VAT No.: CZ27368637, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 15867 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").
The Competition will take place from 2 September 2022 to 8 September 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition Period").
The Competition days and times are as follows:
2 September 2022 from 12:00 to 17:45
3 September 2022 from 12:00 to 17:45
5 September 2022 from 12:00 to 17:45
6 September 2022 from 12:00 to 17:45
8 September 2022 from 12:00 to 17:45
In the event of any postponement of the Match, the Promoter and the Competition Organiser reserve the right to make changes to the Competition.
The Competition will be held on the website www.cesko-dribluje.cz (the "Competition Website") where the Competition itself takes place and then directly at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
To participate in the Competition, you must register on the Competition website at any time during the Competition Period and confirm your unconditional acceptance of these Rules. Registration (entry form) includes the provision of personal information: name, surname, email address, telephone number, region (in which he/she resides) and confirmation of participation in the Contests.
Each participant can register only once and only under his/her own name and email address and the Organizer and the Organizer reserve the right to check this rule by technical and organizational means.
All persons involved in the preparation of this Competition, in particular persons employed by or in a similar relationship with the Promoter or the Organiser, are not eligible to enter the Competition.
The task of the Contestant is to register on the Contest website and fill in the Contest form with the help of the hostess.
Contestants who register using the form will then be entered into a draw from which 2 winners will be selected.
The Competition Organiser will notify the winners by telephone within 10 minutes of the end of the Competition and the winners will be asked to attend a location designated by the Competition Organiser at a specified time. If the drawn winners do not show up, alternates will be selected instead. In the event of a no-show, the winners will forfeit their opportunity to participate in the Competition.
Contestants who are drawn will then have to compete in a basketball shooting contest on the basketball court. The rules of this competition will be specified on the playing field.
Two (2) contestants will be awarded prizes each game day and will split the prizes according to the success of their shots, which will be evaluated by the Contest Organizer. The prizes are determined as follows:
- 1st place - original Tissot watch + Tissot cap
- 2nd place - Tissot cap + Tissot T-shirt
By registering, the contestant acknowledges the processing of the personal data provided by him/her in the scope of first name, surname and e-mail address, or, if he/she provides a telephone number or other similar contact information in connection with the competition in the course of communication with the Organizer or the Organizer of the competition, also these other data (hereinafter referred to as "personal data").
The personal data provided will be used to include a particular person among the participants of the competition, to evaluate the competition and to send or hand over the prize. These activities are carried out by the Promoter in cooperation with the competition organiser.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of the Organiser.
Personal data is processed for the duration of the Competition and for 1 year from the date of the end of the Competition.
Personal data may be processed or provided by the Organiser to the Competition Organiser.
The Contestant has the following rights in the processing of personal data:
- The right to access the personal data processed
- The right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data
- The right to correct inaccurate or incorrect data or to complete incomplete data
- The right to erasure of personal data in the event of termination of the purpose or unlawful processing
- The right to restrict or block the processing of personal data
- The right to extract personal data in a structured and machine-readable format
- Right to object to the processing of personal data
- The right not to be subject to automated decision-making
The competitor acknowledges that he/she provides personal data voluntarily. In the event that he/she does not provide the data or requests that it not be further processed after providing it, he/she cannot participate in the Competition as it will not be possible to identify him/her, communicate with him/her or hand over any prize. Therefore, the termination of the processing of the Contestant's personal data will terminate the Contestant's participation in the Contest without further delay.
In case of any doubts about the Organiser's compliance with the rights as the data controller, the Contestant may contact the Organiser in writing at its registered office or by e-mail at info. The Contestant may submit objections, requests, complaints or other questions regarding the protection of personal data at these addresses. The supervisory authority for personal data protection is the Office for Personal Data Protection, to which the contestant may lodge a complaint.
The Promoter informs the Contestants that the Contest Website may use temporary files stored on the Contestants' devices ("cookies") to facilitate the technical operation of this website, to conduct the Contest and for other marketing purposes of the Promoter. The Contestant grants the Promoter and the Organiser consent to the use of cookies under the same conditions under which their personal data will be processed. The management of cookies can be carried out with the settings tools of all common web browsers. If the Contestant withdraws his/her consent to the use of cookies, the Organizer is entitled to exclude him/her from the Contest.
Other provisions and conditions
The exact specifications of the prize shall be determined solely by the Promoter. The display of Prizes in promotional materials is illustrative. The Promoter shall not be liable for any damages caused to the Winner as a result of the use of the Prize.
Winners are not entitled to claim any financial or other consideration in lieu of the Prize. The Promoter is not otherwise obliged to provide the Winner with any other form of consideration and the Winners will not be entitled to any other consideration from the Promoter not expressly set out in these Rules. The Promoter is not responsible for the quality or quantity of prizes provided by third parties. Liability for any defects must be claimed directly from the prize supplier. The Promoter reserves the right to alter prizes at its sole discretion.
A Contestant may be excluded from the Contest if the Promoter and/or the Organizer determines or has reasonable grounds to suspect that the Contestant is acting fraudulently, in breach of the Contest Rules and/or good morals (e.g. using a false identity; providing false information at registration; being a person who is disqualified from participating in the Contest, etc.).
The Promoter or the Organiser shall be entitled at any time to require the entrant to prove his/her identity and that he/she is acting in accordance with these rules and good manners. If a Contestant fails to prove his/her identity or that he/she is acting in accordance with these Rules or good manners without delay after receiving a request from the Promoter or the Organiser, he/she may be excluded from the Competition.
In the event that a Contestant is excluded from the Contest for any reason whatsoever, their entitlement to the prize shall cease.
Any prizes to which a Contestant's entitlement is forfeited for any reason shall be forfeited to the Promoter, who shall dispose of them at its discretion. In the event of forfeiture, the Contestant shall not be entitled to any compensation.
The Competition is not a public promise. The Promoter reserves the right to change the rules of the Competition at any time during the Competition or prior to its commencement, including by suspending or terminating the Competition early. No legal action may be taken to enforce participation in the Competition or winnings.
Neither the Organiser nor the Promoter shall be responsible for the operation of the electronic communications network, electricity supply or for the operation of the Contestant's or third parties' equipment required for sending the Contest answers and other actions within the Contest, except in cases where the impossibility of acting within the Contest is caused by the Organiser or the Promoter.
Neither the Promoter nor the Organiser provides technical support or consultancy services in connection with the Competition.
Neither the Promoter nor the Organiser shall be liable for any damages arising in connection with the use of prizes or participation in the Competition, except where such liability cannot be excluded by contract under generally applicable law.
The Promoter reserves the right to make a final decision on all matters relating to the Competition, including the assessment of compliance with the terms of the Competition and participation in the Competition. In the event of any doubt as to compliance with the rules of the Competition, the burden of proof shall be on the competitor.
In the event of any conflict between the provisions of these Rules and the Promotional Materials or other information relating to the Contest, the provisions of these Rules shall prevail.
In all other respects, the Competition and the relations between the competitors, the Organiser and the Promoter shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding the conflict of laws rules of private international law.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any undelivered messages or non-delivery of prizes.
The Promoter will make a final decision on any complaints or objections submitted.
The Promoter reserves the right to shorten, postpone, suspend or cancel the Competition or amend or supplement these Rules during the Competition Period by notice on the Competition Website. The Promoter shall not be obliged to provide any compensation for any curtailment, postponement, suspension or cancellation of the Competition or any amendment to the Competition Rules.
